Governance and documents

We are building an organisation that can outlive us.

FJH is young and built by volunteers. Behind the visible work are quiet working sessions where people bring different experience to one table, question assumptions, rethink what could work better and agree on practical next steps. This patient work is turning a compassionate idea into a dependable organisation that can serve families for generations.

Foundations that last

Legal recognition was only the beginning.

Registration makes FJH accountable under Dutch law. The work continues through careful planning, honest review and documented decisions. We are defining responsibilities, improving our systems and protecting members’ contributions before growth makes those tasks harder.

We are not building FJH around personalities. We are building it around duties, checks and records that future members can understand, improve and carry forward.

The volunteers doing the daily work

The Management Board

Protecting members’ money

No one person controls an FJH payment.

What FJH is—and what it is not.

FJH is a member-owned solidarity association. It is not an insurance provider and does not guarantee a fixed benefit. Campaign targets and member obligations follow the association’s approved rules.

1Every payment requires two authorised signatures. One must be the Treasurer.
2The Supervisory Board receives regular financial reports.
3The Management Board keeps the financial administration and prepares the annual reporting.
4FJH funds may be used only for member support and necessary administration under the approved rules.

Official documents

Trust should not depend on our word alone.

The Dutch statutes are legally binding and available here. English and French translations help every member understand how FJH is governed.
